KG college of health science has celebrated world hepatitis day awareness program.
Saravanampatti, July 28, K.G college of health science have celebrated the world hepatitis day, which was headed by chairman K.G hospital
DR. G.Bakthavathsalam held the helm at the program.
Mr.v. Balakrishnan IPS, commissioner of police, Coimbatore city was invited as the chief guest of the program along with him Mr. N. Silambarasan IPS, deputy commissioner of police, Coimbatore city accompanied him. They were warmly welcomed by Dr. Manoj Abraham, principal, kg college of physiotherapy. Henceforth, the principals and vice principals of KG college of physiotherapy, KG college of nursing and allied health science were a part of this program. In order to create awareness among the public a flash mob session was held by the students of KG physio college students in front of Saravanampatti police station . Counting in, a speech about the prevention and treatment of hepatitis was given by Dr. Mithra, hepatologist, KG hospital. In addition, to cognizance the students a mime program was added . On behalf of the institution, many competitions was conducted among students and in appreciation of their enthusiastic participation prize winners were awarded at end of the session. To boot , last year in Covid pandemic more than 1,60,000 people have been vaccinated through the vaccination drive organized and managed by K.G. hospital. A letter have been received from our honorable prime minister quoted on appreciation for the fruitful labor of students who worked in the vaccine drive. Those students were highlighted in the program
